Get a Little Something is a growing gift guide for products made in Western North Carolina. We help you find something that fits the person, then send you to the maker or their shop to buy it.

Made here means made here.

A local shop address alone isn’t enough. We look for evidence of making, crafting or processing in WNC and keep a link to the source. Materials and ingredients may come from elsewhere. We distinguish the maker from the retailer when they’re different.

Thoughtful suggestions, clear facts.

We use AI-assisted research and curation to find gifts, organize the collection and maintain listings. We check source information and review additions and corrections. We don’t claim to have personally tested every product.

Prices range from $25 to $250 before tax and shipping. Each listing explains the priced option and what we know about shipping. The seller confirms current stock, price and eligibility for your address at checkout.

Our original illustrations represent gift categories, not the exact products. Product photographs are available on the seller’s website. We’ll add maker photography as its use is arranged.

The current collection uses ordinary links and does not earn affiliate commissions. If we add affiliate links, we’ll identify them clearly. Commission will only break ties between otherwise equally suitable gifts; it won’t make an unsuitable recommendation a good one.
